We offer the following veterinary services to assist in the quality care of your companions:

Emergency Care
ur primary service is emergency and after-hours care. We provide 24 hour monitoring and hospitalization for patients with illnesses ranging from post-surgical to life-threatening diseases or injuries. One of or emergency veterinarians and nurses will be present at all times to care for your hospitalized pet. Our well-trained staff provides emergency treatment when necessary including CPCR, oxygen therapy, intravenous fluids, and other emergency procedures.

iagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. Specialists can also be contacted for emergency consults if this is necessary for you pet’s care. 

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides ample space for emergency surgical procedures. As we are an emergency facility only, we do not perform standard elective surgeries including spay/neuter surgeries, planned C-sections, declawing, etc. Please consult with your regular veterinarian regarding elective procedures. 
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Anesthetic protocols are specially tailored for you pet. For these reasons, pre-surgical blood work may be recommended.  We also use the most modern monitoring equipment to evaluate the patient's vital signs during all anesthetic procedures. Monitoring devices may include Pulse-oximetry, Blood pressure, EKG, capnograph, and respiratory monitors. Our caring and well- trained emergency nurses will also be monitoring your pet during surgical procedures to ensure the safest possible plane of anesthesia.   
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who perform ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases. We work closely with Dr. Ellen Miller, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVIM for internal medicine consultations and Dr. Sandy Van Camp, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVR for ultrasonography consultations.  
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We also offer radiology referrals to have your pet's x-rays reviewed by board certified radiologists, with results in just hours. When your pet has radiographs (x-rays) taken at our facility, we will provide you with a CD of those radiographs for your regular veterinarian to review. Radiographs can also be viewed online by following the instructions on your discharge instructions.      

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. 
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals for our critical patients. Due to the emergency nature of our hospital, we do not stock tick and flea preventative, heartworm preventative, and prescription diets. Please consult with your regular veterinarian for these supplies.
